A Session opened on your laptop or PC will be displayed with all contents exactly as on the Sessionboard. Your Sessions are always displayed in 16:9 ratio, regardless of the format of your PC / laptop display. In addition to the full view, you also have the possibility to enlarge to a smaller section (zoom).
The same tools are available for editing the Session as on the Sessionboard, but in a representation adapted to working on a PC. As the host of a Shared Session, you can also change the access rights to a Shared Session:
All Notes (from personal devices) are sent into the Session via the inbox.

You can zoom in (+) on details of your Session, or zoom out (-) for an overview. A percentage value indicates the zoom level at which the Session is displayed.
The options for setting the zoom level can be found behind the double arrow symbol:
Two buttons are available as quick standard settings
- With the button "fit to screen width" you adjust the zoom level to the width of your screen.
- The button "full screen" sets the Desktop Editing to full screen and the view of your Session to full overview.
Please note: The zoom can also be operated via the standard inputs of your PC, e.g. with the mouse or with gestures on a trackpad.
The Main Menu of Desktop Editing is the counterpart to the Main Menu on the large touch screen of the Sessionboard. It contains the most important tools for creating content. When clicked, a number of options appear:
- Sheet Portrait/ Landscape
In Desktop Editing, you use the mouse pointer to write and sketch on the Sheet.
- Text Note
- Media Note
After uploading your file, the image, video or PDF automatically appears in the correct format. With PDFs, you now have the possibility to navigate through the pages with the PDF viewer.
