A weframe videoconference is always initiated by a weframe device (weframe One 86''). In addition to participating via a laptop / PC, you can also participate in the conference via another weframe device.
Please note: In order to join a weframe video conference as a participant, you need an invitation link which the conference organizer (host) must provide you with. With a click on this link you can then join the video conference on the weframe device.
Proceed as follows:
- If you have a weframe account, log in with your laptop / PC at weframe.one and open a session on your weframe device. If you don't have or don't want to create a weframe account, you can also participate in the videoconference as a guest. It is not necessary to open a separate session on your weframe device in this case (see 5.).
Activate the camera by opening the cover flap at the top left of the screen.
Click on the invitation link or copy it to the URL bar of a recent browser.
Select the option "Join on weframe One".
- If you have not logged into your weframe account before (see 1.), or if you don't have an account, you can now participate in the videoconference as a guest. You will be asked to enter your name, which will be displayed together with your video during the conference.
Enter the eight-digit PIN that is displayed on the weframe device near you.
You are connected to the weframe videoconference on your weframe device. The camera window opens in the upper left corner of the workspace.
Please note: As a guest, you will be informed on your laptop / PC beforehand that an active Session (of the host) is available. Click on "Join now". The active Session of the host opens on your weframe device and you will be connected to the videoconference.
You see all participants or their avatars in a grid view. To zoom in on a participant in the camera window, tap the corresponding grid with the participant's thumbnail or avatar.
If you want to end your participation, click on the red button "End". The message "The video conference has ended" appears.
